I CONVENCIÓN TUDI
COLOMBIA
In the month of September 2022, the cities of Bogotá and Cartagena in Colombia were the venues for the 1st TUDI Convention.
We had our General Assembly, during which the Board of Directors for the term 2022-2024 was elected. Besides a lot of fun, we also had charitable musical performances and some time for tourism.
I ENCONTRO IBEROAMERICANO
DE TUNAS ACADÉMICAS
Co-organized with Afonsina - Tuna de Engenharia da Universidade do Minho, on the 1st and 2nd of July 2022.
The event included a reception at the City Hall, Tuna Encounters, dinners, socializing, cultural workshops, a serenade to São Nicolau, a presentation of a study on the history of Tunas in Guimarães, a Jam Session with string instrument players, and the Beca Ceremony for the delegation from Portugal.
CEREMONY OF BECAS AND ESCUDOS AWARDING TO TUDI PORTUGAL
On the second day of the Ibero-American Meeting of Academic Tunas, the becas and escudos award ceremony for the members of the Portuguese delegation was held at the Salão Nobre of the Museu de la Sociedade Martins Sarmento.
In the presence of the Counselor of Portugal, the Counselor of Puerto Rico (and several Puerto Rican members), as well as a representative from TUDI SPAIN, the members from Portugal were awarded their becas and escudos.
CEREMONY OF BECAS AWARDING TO TUDI MEXICO
In Pachuca Hidalgo, with the presence of Counselors Miguel Falla (Colombia) and Frank Chiroque (Puerto Rico), TUDI BECAS were awarded to the Mexican delegation.
VISITING THE DELAGATIONS IN PANAMA AND EL SALVADOR
To support Humberto, the founder of the Tuna of the University of El Salvador and our Counselor in El Salvador, we traveled to San Salvador to award him the TUDI beca and share some of our knowledge with the tunos of El Salvador.
During our visit to Panama, we were able to interact with the Estudiantina Federico Garcia Vallejo and the Cuarentuna Universitaria de Panama. The beca award ceremony for the Panama delegation was also conducted.
